Specification Manager

We're Hiring: Specification Manager

📍 UK-Wide (London/Coventry/Manchester base ideal)

🕒 Full-time | 💻 keystoneco.co.uk

We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about materials, design, and people.

At Keystone, we work with beautiful surfaces—from fine porcelain tiles to natural stone—and we’re proud to collaborate with design studios, developers, and brands across the UK.

But what really matters to us is building long-term relationships and offering genuine value—through knowledge, through service, and through how we show up.

That’s where this role comes in.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Specification Manager to help share our collections with architects, designers, and developers. It’s a role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, has a good understanding of materials, and is curious enough to keep learning. You’ll be part of the conversations that happen early in a project—when surfaces are still being imagined, and your advice can shape the outcome.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not chasing flashy sales tactics or surface-level presentations. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes the time to understand a designer’s or developer’s vision
  • Can speak confidently about porcelain, ceramic, or stone—how it performs, how it’s made, and where it fits
  • Enjoys building relationships and being a consistent point of contact
  • Is organised and reliable, following through on details
  • Is naturally curious—always looking to understand more about the materials, the industry, and the people they work with
  • Isn’t afraid to say “I don’t know” and go find the right answer or product
  • Has some experience in a specification or B2B product role (tiles, interiors, or construction), and ideally a network in the design world
  • Has a full UK driving license and is open to travel

What You’ll Do

  • Represent Keystone in meetings, showrooms, and studio visits across the UK
  • Introduce our studio collections to architects, designers, and developers
  • Work with the marketing team to support events and expo as required
  • Stay in touch with our sourcing partners—factories, quarries, and makers—to understand the story behind each material
  • Work with Management to bring new products to the market in line with trends
  • Have a hunger for building the next spec and working to KPI’s

What We Offer

  • A Competitive salary + bonus
  • Ongoing training and product learning (we believe in becoming subject matter experts by learning from subject matter experts)
  • Flexibility to work in a way that suits your schedule and clients
  • A role that can grow with you (A larger cog in a smaller team)
  • Salary Sacrifice Scheme
